Who this notice applies to

This notice covers the SkyFeels website, browser extension and related support communications. SkyFeels is operated by Roc Zin under the SkyFeels product name. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

Information SkyFeels does not access

The extension does not request device precise-location permission. It does not read your browsing history, open tabs, cookies, webpage content, off-site search history, passwords, payment-card details or files. It does not use those permissions to provide weather information.

Information used to provide the extension

SkyFeels processes only the information needed for its weather and optional Pro features:

• Saved places and weather settings. These can include city or place names, approximate coordinates, units, language, display preferences and toolbar choices.
• General network-area information for the first suggestion. When no place has been chosen, the service can use network request metadata to suggest a city, country, approximate coordinates and time zone. This is not device GPS or another precise-location API, and you can change or remove the suggested place.
• A random installation identifier. The extension stores this locally to maintain its own settings and entitlement state.
• Pro and sync information, if you activate Pro. This can include a licence or authorization state, a device label, browser or platform details, activation and last-seen times, saved places, preferences and the changes needed to synchronize them across your activated devices.
• Billing email and subscription-service records, if you purchase Pro. We keep the billing email you confirm before checkout, a protected lookup value for trial eligibility and duplicate-purchase prevention, subscription/order references, consent records, and the minimum fulfillment and delivery records needed to send or recover an authorization code and support your subscription. SkyFeels does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Support messages you send us. If you email support, we receive the information included in that message and use it to respond.

How we use this information

We use the information above to show weather for places you choose, preserve your settings, make an initial city suggestion, provide and secure Pro entitlements and optional sync, create and protect checkout and trial eligibility, deliver or recover authorization codes, respond to support requests, and diagnose reliability or abuse issues. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Where information is stored and shared

Most free-extension settings remain in the browser’s extension storage. If you activate Pro, the information needed for entitlement and sync is processed by SkyFeels’ hosted application infrastructure. Weather requests are sent to SkyFeels’ service, which obtains weather information on the extension’s behalf; the extension does not contact weather data services directly or expose their credentials.

We may use hosting, security, communications, payment and infrastructure providers to operate SkyFeels. They may process information only as needed to provide those services, protect the service or comply with law. Payment checkout and payment-lifecycle communications are handled by the payment service shown at checkout. Support messages may be processed by email delivery, routing and inbox providers, including Resend and Gmail, solely to receive, review, respond to and secure support requests. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, prevent fraud or respond to a valid legal request.

Website analytics

The public website uses cookie-free, aggregate web analytics to understand page visits, referrers, broad device categories and performance. It is not used to identify or follow an individual across websites, and it does not collect extension city searches, authorization codes, order information, weather details or free-text support messages. We will update this notice before enabling a materially different analytics method, cookies or user-identification tracking.

Retention and your choices

Local extension settings remain in your browser until you change them, clear extension storage or remove the extension. Remote Pro, sync, billing and support records are stored persistently to provide entitlement, recovery, fraud prevention and customer service. Removing a saved place or revoking a device stops its active use, but does not itself guarantee immediate removal from all remote operational records.

You may ask SkyFeels Support to stop future SkyFeels-originated email to a billing address. This is a contact preference, not a request to delete or anonymize the billing address and not a subscription cancellation. If a subscription is still effective, the request remains pending until it expires; once confirmed, SkyFeels sends one final confirmation and then stops SkyFeels-originated email. A future paid subscription using that address clears the preference so SkyFeels can deliver the new authorization code. Payment-provider communications may be governed separately by that provider.

To request access or correction of remote information, contact support with enough detail for us to identify the relevant installation or licence without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

International processing and security

SkyFeels may use globally distributed infrastructure, so information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and changes to this notice

SkyFeels is not designed for children under the age at which they can independently consent to online services in their location. Do not use SkyFeels if that does not apply to you. We may update this notice as the product changes; the updated date will show at the top, and material changes will be described before they take effect where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to complain to a relevant privacy regulator. Contact us first so we can review your request. Nothing in this notice limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
